Warren Suckow

SLAYTON — Services for Warren Clarence Suckow, 81, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Slayton. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Holloway. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements. A mask will be needed at the church.

He died Thursday, May 7, 2020, in Clara City.

He was born on April 22, 1939, on the family farm near Holloway, to Gerhardt and Mildred Mesenbrink Suckow. He was member of the Minnesota Army National Guard from November 1956 to January 1965.

Survivors include his daughter, Sara Schulz of Clara City; two stepsons, Jeffrey Giese of Montevideo, and Michael Giese of Gallipolis, Ohio; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and seven siblings, Janice Gades of Danvers, Myrna Sanberg of Burnsville, Cheryl Halberg of Anoka, Lonny of Ramsey, Arden of Apple Valley, Lydon of Cottage Grove, and Dawn Mantei of Apple Valley.
