Jacob Camell

BOVEY — Jacob “Jake” Camell, 88, went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 17, 2019. He was born to Louis and Marie (Hein) Camell in Grand Rapids, Minnesota then moved to Duluth, MN where he grew up.

While in high school he met Marcella “Marty” Wagner whom he later married while on leave from the Marines. They started their lives together in California where he was stationed at the time. It was there they were blessed to welcome their two children, Deborah Marie and Brian Paul, into their family.

In 1965 Jake and Marty moved back to Marshall, Minnesota where they continued to raise their children. It was there Jake shared his love for hunting and fishing with his son, Brian.

Jake and Marty retired to a lake home in Bovey, Minnesota. He enjoyed spending every day on his pontoon fishing and taught all of his grandchildren how to fish.
