Lucille was a lifelong member of Hope Lutheran Church, active in all church activities, and director of the church choir for 25 years. Passionate about music and gifted with a beautiful voice, she inspired her family and many young people to also pursue their love of music. She enjoyed leading sing-alongs at the Minneota Manor and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years. An avid reader and lifelong learner, she was a member of the News & Arts Club and an advocate of the public library system. From 1997 to 2010, Lucille lived at Golden Pond in Marshall, MN where she enjoyed the close proximity of family and friends, both old and new. The Avera Morningside staff lovingly assisted in Lucille’s care from 2010-2019.
