Bernice Logue

Sept. 30, 1927-June 29, 2018

MARSHALL — Services for Bernice Logue, 90, of Marshall will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Rehkamp Horvath Funeral Home in Marshall. Lunch and fellowship will follow the service at the Holy Redeemer Fellowship Hall. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Bernice died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall.

Bernice Edna (Wedger) Logue was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Springfield, to William and Mary (Kronschnabel) Wedger. When she was two, she moved with her family to a farm south of Amiret. On June 25, 1956, she was united in marriage to Frances Logue. To this union were born sons James, Kevin and Douglas. The family farmed south of Marshall. After Frances’ death in 1982, Bernice moved to Marshall. She worked for a variety of retail stores including Walmart, JC Penny’s and Ehlers. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Bernice was most passionate about time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by son Jim (and Cindy) Logue of Le Sueur, son Doug of Marshall; grandchildren, Tyler (and Carly) and Kali and Hannah.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kevin and grandson, Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to a charity of the donor’s choice.
