African Children’s Choir to perform Nov. 23 at Living Word

The African Children’s Choir will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall. The African Children’s Choir performs lively African songs and dances. The program features well-loved children's songs, traditional spirituals and gospel favorites. Concerts are free and open to all. A free-will offering is taken at the performance to support African Children’s Choir programs, such as education, care and relief and development programs. Fall concert is Oct. 20 at Christ Lutheran

The Buffalo Ridge Chorale along with the Oak Lake String Band will present their fall concert titled "Home on the Range" 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at Christ Lutheran Church, Hendricks. The concert selections include “For the Beauty of the Earth,” Stephen Paulus's “The Old Church,” and “Home on the Range.” Admission is $8 and children 14 and younger are free.
