The 14th annual Undergraduate Research Conference will be from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Southwest Minnesota State University. Research projects from SMSU students representing 18 academic areas will be featured, according to Dr. Emily Deaver, Professor of Environmental Science and the event coordinator. Approximately 133 students will be participating. There are 75 poster presentations, and 29 oral presentations. Catholic United Financial Bingo will be Sunday at Holy Redeemer Church’s Carlin Hall. Warm ups begin at 12:30 p.m. with games at 1 p.m. Cost is three games for a $1 with a payout of 50 percent. The event receives a matching grant from CUF which is used for the Holy Redeemer School and Faith Formation programs.
