'America 250' series to continue at museum

MARSHALL — A series of speakers and reflections on the United States’ 250th anniversary will continue in July at the Lyon County Museum. Speaker, photographer and historian Doug Ohman will be presenting “America 250” July 29 at the museum. One dead, one injured in Hwy. 68 crash

MINNEOTA — A Minneota man was killed and an Echo woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Minnesota Highway 68, the Minnesota Sate Patrol said. Edward Joseph Lozinski, 76, was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The crash was reported at 2:24 p.m. in Westerheim Township, Lyon County. A 2018 GMC Terrain driven by Hailey Elizabeth Pederson, 21, of Echo, and a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Lozinski were both traveling eastbound on Highway 68 when the two vehicles collided, the State Patrol said.
