IVANHOE — A Clinton man received probation Thursday for charges of solicitation of children to engage in sexual contact, Lincoln County court records said.

Casey Peter Corald Dahl, 20, appeared at a sentencing hearing Oct. 27. A criminal complaint alleged that Dahl solicited a minor to engage in sexual contact in Lincoln County in 2020. Dahl pleaded guilty to solicitation charges on July 7, and additional charges of third degree criminal sexual conduct were dismissed, court records said.

Dahl received a stay of imposition of sentence, and three years probation with conditions including that he serve 90 days in jail, have no contact with the victim, and register as a predatory offender, court records said.
