Cottonwood man injured in McLeod Co. crash

GLENCOE — A Cottonwood man was injured in a one-vehicle crash near Glencoe on Wednesday, the Minnesota State Patrol said. Jeffrey William Johnson, 35, was taken to Glencoe Regional Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 5:33 a.m. on U.S. Highway 212, east of Glencoe. The State Patrol said a 2016 Ford cargo van driven by Johnson was eastbound when Johnson lost control on the wet roadway. The van went into the ditch and rolled.

The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Glencoe Police and Glencoe Ambulance all assisted at the crash scene, the State Patrol said.
