One injured in semi collision

MARSHALL — One person was hurt when a vehicle hit the back of a semi trailer in a Thursday morning crash, Marshall Police said.

The collision was reported at 6:28 a.m., at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Minnesota Highway 23. The driver of the vehicle was taken to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center by ambulance, but the extent of their injuries was unknown, Police said. The vehicle was later towed.

MARSHALL — A 21-year-old female was cited for driving after revocation in a traffic incident reported at 10:37 p.m. Thursday on the 600 block of West Main Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD — A motor vehicle backed into a parked vehicle in an incident reported at 6:19 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of Barstad Road, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A motor vehicle was damaged by an unknown vehicle in a hit and run incident reported at 3:43 p.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of Peterson Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A pole damaged by an unknown vehicle was reported at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East College Drive and West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 31-year-old male was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant; as well as for controlled substance crime, a firearm violation, possession of meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child, and obstructing legal process, at 2:48 p.m. Thursday on the 1300 block of Peterson Street, Marshall Police said.

MINNEOTA — Vandalism was reported at 11:20 a.m. Thursday on the 500 block of East First Street, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

TRACY — Fraud was reported at 8:33 a.m. Thursday on the 200 block of Third Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — A burglary reported at 6:27 a.m. Thursday on the 1600 block of Halbur Road is under investigation, Marshall Police said.
