Courts for Dec. 5

MARSHALL – Jonathan Lee Lewis, 28, of Spicer, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of giving a false name and date of birth to a peace officer and driving after revocation. A complaint alleges Lewis gave false information to a peace officer in Marshall on Sept. 5. A hearing was set for Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Mona Vang, 34, of Walnut Grove, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety. A complaint alleges Vang drove with a canceled license in Lyon County on Sept. 5. A hearing was set for Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Jay Donald Strand, 33, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety. A complaint alleges Strand drove with a canceled license in Marshall on Oct. 7. A hearing was set for Dec. 9.

MARSHALL – Raymundo Caraza, 20, of Lynd, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of third degree assault and fifth degree assault. A complaint alleges Caraza assaulted a woman in Marshall on Sept. 11. A hearing was set for Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Timothy Thomas Masterson, 46, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of domestic assault by strangulation, interfering with an emergency call and domestic assault. A complaint alleges Masterson assaulted a woman in Marshall on Nov. 8. A hearing was set for Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Racheal Michelle Brown, 29, of Porter, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of having no proof of insurance and driving after revocation. A complaint alleges Brown drove with a revoked license in Lyon County on Aug. 31. A hearing was set for Jan. 6.

MARSHALL – Jonathon Lee Lewis, 28, of Spicer, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of terroristic threat, and two counts of domestic assault charges. A complaint alleges Lewis threatened a woman in Marshall on Nov. 9. A hearing was set for Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Guadalupe Matias Ramos, 25, of New London, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on two counts of domestic assault charges, motor vehicle theft charges, and driving after cancellation charges. A complaint alleges Ramos assaulted a woman and stole a vehicle in Marshall on May 10. A hearing was continued to Dec. 9.

MARSHALL – Jordan Paul Lanners, 27, of Lynd, was sentenced in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 for charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and domestic assault. Lanners shot a firearm in a residential area in Marshall on July 19, court records said. Lanners received a stay of imposition of sentence, a $500 fine, and five years probation with conditions including serve 120 days in jail, abstain from alcohol and drugs, and abide by laws. Additional charges of second degree assault, terroristic threat, and reckless discharge of a firearm were dismissed.

MARSHALL – Shawn Patrick Liebhard, 23, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of motor vehicle theft, first degree criminal property damage, third degree driving while impaired and open bottle. A complaint alleges Liebhard drove another person’s vehicle without permission and damaged a patio fence in Marshall on Sept. 1. A hearing was continued to Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Ashley Alexandria Atkins, 19, of Marshall, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 to charges of offering a forged check, court records said. Atkins offered a forged check in Marshall on Aug. 31, court records said. Atkins was sentenced to one year in jail with 320 days stayed, pay a $300 fine and two years probation with conditions including serve 45 days in jail with credit for 45 days already served, and abide by laws. Additional charges of check forgery were dismissed.

MARSHALL – Tiffany Lee Ann Nasers, 37, of Sibley, Iowa, appeared in Lyon County District Court Nov. 25 on charges of fifth degree controlled substance crime, driving after suspension, having no proof of insurance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A complaint alleges Nasers possessed drugs in Marshall on Oct. 2. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for Dec. 23.

MARSHALL – Andrew Gerald Boklep, 24, of Cottonwood, appeared in Lyon County District Court Dec. 1 on charges of third degree driving while impaired – refusal to test and open bottle. A complaint alleges Boklep refused to take a chemical test in Marshall on Oct. 31. A hearing was set for Dec. 9. Bail was set at $12,000 without conditions, or release with conditions including appear in court, abide by laws, and complete booking.

MARSHALL – Daniel Conrad Hennen, 24, of Ghent, appeared in Lyon County District Court Dec. 2 on charges of third degree driving while impaired. A complaint alleges Hennen drove with an alcohol level of .12 in Marshall on Oct. 11. A hearing was set for Dec. 16.

MARSHALL – Melinda Marie Haupt, 22, of Arlington, appeared in Lyon County District Court Dec. 2 on charges of financial transaction card fraud. A complaint alleges Haupt used another person’s financial transaction card without permission in Marshall on Oct. 10-11. A hearing was set for Dec. 16.

MARSHALL – Erica Joy Nelson, 37, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Dec. 2 on charges of theft. A complaint alleges Nelson stole more than $500 worth of merchandise from a Marshall business on Aug. 30. A hearing was set for Dec. 30.
