Celebrating, rain or shine

Saturday turned out to be rainy, but it didn’t stop community festival events in Lake Benton and Canby. People got out their umbrellas and rain gear for the Saddle Horse Holiday parade in Lake Benton. Riders on horseback — including one rider carrying an American flag — made up part of the parade on Saturday afternoon. While people didn’t mind the rain for the parade, a few other events moved indoors over the weekend, including a youth basketball tournament and burger feed.
