Chamber facilitates CARES Act Zoom meeting Thursday

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s John Kirchner (and Marshall native), executive director, Midwest Region will provide a summary of the legislation and share details how small businesses and self-employed individuals may prepare to file for a loan.

To participate in a question and answer session, email Brad Gruhot at brad.gruhot@marshallmn.org by 5 p.m. today. Register at http://marshallareachamber.chambermaster.com/events/details/cares-act-zoom-meeting-13816

Registrants will get Zoom information in a reminder. There is no cost to attend the meeting.
