Meister of Carris Health earns Physician Executive Certification

Carris Health, formerly ACMC Health, announces that Steven Meister, M.D., has successfully earned the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) certificate from The American Association for Physician Leadership. Meister was awarded the status of Certified Physician Executive based on his superior levels of professional excellence and management education while also demonstrating effective health care industry knowledge and leadership skills.

This certification coincides with Meister’s recently announced role as physician vice president of Clinical Support Services for the newly formed Carris Health, a partnership between ACMC Health, Rice Memorial Hospital and CentraCare Health.

“By attaining CPE certification, I am better prepared to help guide the direction and improvement of health care delivery in rural Minnesota,” Meister said.

The American Association for Physician Leadership is the nation’s largest organization solely focused on leadership education and management training for physicians. Corey J. Skogrand reaches career milestone at Ameriprise Financial

Corey J. Skogrand, CFP, ChFC, CLU with Van der Hagen, Skogrand & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in Marshall, has reached a career milestone through the company’s Circle of Success program by achieving years of consistently high performance. Less than 7 percent of Ameriprise advisers have earned this distinction. Skogrand was one of only 56 advisers to achieve this milestone and will be recognized at the company’s 2018 National Conference in San Francisco, California.

Fennell earns top honor for customer service at American Family Insurance

Chuck Fennell, an American Family Insurance agent in Marshall, has been recognized for providing an outstanding customer experience under the American Star Excellence in Customer Experience Certification Program.
