Onken joins Edina Realty as manager for the Marshall and Worthington sales offices

Edina Realty, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate and the largest residential real estate company in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, welcomes Tara Onken as the new manager for the Marshall and Worthington sales offices.

Onken was raised on a farm near Balaton, and has deep ties to the community. Her professional experience includes extensive work in housing and economic development, in both the public and private sectors, on commercial expansion projects, single family and multi-family subdivisions. She has also worked with communities to implement tax abatement and facade improvement programs to secure private investment on real estate buildings and property improvements.

In addition to her economic development work, Tara has also been a licensed Realtor since 2012. A graduate of South Dakota State University, Onken holds bachelor’s degrees in geography and sociology. Onken previously served as the economic development director for the city of Marshall.

Onken replaces Pat Lutterman as sales manager of the Marshall and Worthington offices. Lutterman made the decision to retire from her management role effective Dec. 31,. Lutterman was the broker/owner of Prudential Elite Realty from April 2004 through the end of 2014 when she and her team of 11 agents joined Edina Realty in January 2015. She will continue with Edina Realty as a Realtor in the Marshall office.
