MNwest Entrepreneur Summit to be virtual

SMSU Theater opens season with ‘Pinkalicious The Musical’

SMSU Theater’s 54th season opens with “Pinkalicious The Musical” by Elizabeth Kann, Victoria Kann, and John Gregor. Performances are Oct. 28-30 and Nov. 5-6 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 30-31 and Nov. 6-7 at 2 p.m. All performances are in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre, with free parking available in lot B-1. ‘Day of Service’ Oct. 6 at SMSU

Southwest Minnesota State University will host a 2021 Day of Service on Wednesday, Oct. 6, with a theme of “Mustangs Give.” The day is an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to sign up for clean-up projects that are available at several locations in Marshall, or to volunteer for a project of their own. Visiting Writer Rendon to read Oct. 12 at SMSU

Author Marcie Rendon will read from her work on from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, in Charter Hall 201 on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University. The event is free and open to the public. It will be followed by a short Q&A session, and a book signing. Her appearance is part of the ongoing Visiting Writer series, hosted by the Creative Writing Program.
