SMSU Theater presents ‘SHOUT! The Mod Musical’

SMSU Theater’s spring production is “SHOUT! The Mod Musical,” created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein. Performances are April 10 through April 13, at 7:30 p.m. and April 12 and 13, at 2 p.m. in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre. Tickets are $10 and will be available only at the door. Seating is first-come, first-served. Admission is free for SMSU employees and students with valid ID. Free and convenient parking is available in lot B-1. SMSU GOLD College kick-off March 19

The spring 2025 kick-off for GOLD College will be today in the Upper Conference Center from 1:30-4 p.m. at Southwest Minnesota State University. The kick-off event will allow attendees to hear directly from course professors, register for classes, and meet fellow GOLD College participants. Study groups are scheduled to run from March 24-May 2 with coursework delivered in-person, via Zoom, and a hybrid format that allows students to choose in-person or Zoom. Minnesota State Mankato announces dean’s list The Academic high honor and honor lists (dean’s lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs David Hood. Among 4,404 students, a total of 1,354 students qualified for the high honor list by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 3,050 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the honor list.
