SDSU announces dean’s list More than 3,900 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the spring 2026 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the dean's list. To earn dean's list distinctions in SDSU's colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. NEW ULM – The Most Rev. Chad W. Zielinski, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm, will lead a Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession beginning at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm and concluding at the Church of St. Mary. The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi, celebrates Jesus Christ’s true presence in the Eucharist. Local students graduate from Northwestern College Clara Bader of Marshall and Leah Koole of Marshall were among 272 graduates to receive bachelor’s degrees at Northwestern College during commencement ceremonies May 9. Twenty-two students received bachelor of science in nursing degrees, while the rest of the graduating seniors were granted bachelor of arts degrees.
