SMSU Theater presents ‘SHOUT! The Mod Musical’

SMSU Theater’s spring production is “SHOUT! The Mod Musical,” created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein. Performances are April 10 through April 13, at 7:30 p.m. and April 12 and 13, at 2 p.m. in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre. Tickets are $10 and will be available only at the door. Fellowship buzz is the soundtrack to Sunday morning

Is there anything more joyful than the excited buzz of fellowship taking place at the opening of a Sunday morning worship service? I generally start all of my Sunday morning worships with the same ritual. I am ready and in place in the sanctuary when the early birds arrive for service so that I can greet as many of the parishioners as possible. ‘Rebuilding’ series offered The “Rebuilding” Series is also open for registration.  This series runs for 10 weeks beginning April 14 at 7 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church on Church and A streets in Marshall. It is designed for those who are past the initial pain of losing a partner and are working to put their lives back together. The support group is open to people of all denominations.   Registration will be taken for the first 2 weeks. There is a $75 fee to cover the cost of materials.
