The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #1291 are invited to attend the 5:30 p.m. Mass on Monday, followed by an informative meeting to learn of upcoming events.

Pet blessing Sunday

The Little Portion Secular Franciscans of the Marshall area are sponsoring a “Blessing of the Animals” at 2 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Holy Redeemer Church in Marshall. All animals and their favorite people are welcome. The Secular Franciscan Order is an order for lay persons that was started by St. Francis some 800 years ago. CCW event Oct. 23

Holy Redeemer Council of Catholic Women (CCW) invites you to an evening of Mass at 5:30 p.m., a light meal, and a guest speaker on Monday, Oct. 23. The guest speaker is Gabrielle Cohrs-Rohlik with her testimony, “The Divine Symphony of Trust. Quieting Inner Unrest and Finding Peace,” which is after the Mass in Carlin Hall at Holy Redeemer Church, 503 West Lyon Street in Marshall.

Concert by AGAPE and Joe Davis at First Lutheran First Lutheran (100 Church Street) is hosting a concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 4. AGAPE is a hip hop artist who combines dancing, rap, and storytelling to spread the message of God’s love through Christ. He has been touring full time for over 15 years performing for hundreds of thousands of youth across the U.S., and in eight different countries. St. Edward Fall Festival Sept. 17 St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota is having its Fall Festival Sunday, Sept. 17. A meal of roasted pork loin, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, fresh vegetable sides, dessert and beverage will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dinner tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-12 and free for children ages 3 and under. Jesus Cares Ministry kickoff The Jesus Cares Ministry Bible Study Kickoff picnic is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marshall at 208 W. Marshall St. There will be food, fellowship, games and puzzles. Bring a side dish or salad to pass. Pastor will be grilling hotdogs.
