BOYD — Katie Hutt and Matthew Boettger announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Mavis and David Hutt of Boyd and Mary and Todd Boettger of Owatonna. Hutt is a 2012 graduate of Dawson-Boyd High School and a 2015 graduate of Alexandria Technical and Community College with degrees in administrative office management, business management, and marketing and sales management. She is employed with US Bank as a personal banker in Marshall. Boettger is a 2012 graduate of Owatonna High School and a 2014 graduate of Alexandria Technical and Community College with a degree in law enforcement. He is also a 2017 graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in law enforcement administration. He is employed with Lyon County as a sheriff’s deputy. A May 5, 2018, wedding is planned at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall.
