COTTONWOOD — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning on Lyon County Road 9, the Minnesota State patrol said. A Cottonwood man and a Marshall man were both taken to Avera Marshall Medical Center. The crash was reported at 10:31, at the intersection of Lyon County Road 9 and 330th Street, the State Patrol said. County Road 9 is currently serving as a detour of Minnesota Highway 23 during bridge construction near Green Valley.
