PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Minneota earns top seed, Marshall a random draw in state tournament

MARSHALL - The seedings for the upcoming girls state basketball tournament were announced over the weekend.

In Class A, Minneota earned the No. 1 seed and will open tournament play on Thursday against Red Lake (random draw). The Vikings will play at 11 a.m. at the Maturi Pavilion on the University of Minnesota campus.

In Class AAA, Marshall earned a random draw and will face No. 3 seed Becker on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Maturi Pavilion.
