WASECA -- With a division title already in hand, Marshall entered Friday night's girls basketball contest in Waseca looking to capture a conference title in the Big South Championship. But the Bluejays held the Tigers to under 20 points in the second half as Waseca defeated Marshall 53-43.
Jordyn Hilgemann was Marshall's primary source of offense, scoring 30 points to go along with six rebounds in the loss.
Lenei Estrada and Paige Andries added four points apiece for the Tigers.
Madison Gehloff led Waseca with 19 points.

Noah Puetz led the Tigers in scoring with 14 points.
Matt Hmielewski added 12 points in the win, while Bryce Lance finished with 11 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Colin Nagel scored nine points to lead Hutchinson.
