MARSHALL - The Southwest Minnesota State University volleyball program has announced its 2018 spring tournament dates.
SMSU will host a five-team tournament this Saturday in the R/A Facility, featuring Concordia-St. Paul, Sioux Falls, Minnesota State and Winona State. A total of nine, two-set matches will be played during the day on two courts.
SMSU will face MSU at 10 a.m., CSP at 11 a.m., USF at 1 p.m. and finish with WSU at 2 p.m.
SMSU will also host two scrimmages on Saturday, April 7, before concluding the spring season on Saturday, April 14, at St. Cloud State.
Southwest Minnesota State finished the 2017 season with a 29-4 overall record, which included winning the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament championship and hosting the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
