Spencer Wajer and Tyler Groves led the way for the Rebels with 12 points each while Nate Everson added 11. Groves led in rebounds with 13 while Justin Benda led in assists with four.

WESTBROOK - The Westbrook-Walnut Grove girls basketball team fell to Mountain Lake Area 42-33 on Monday.
Grace Woelber led the way for the Chargers with 11 points while Brittany Erickson and Bethany Byers each added seven. Camryn Bunting led the way in rebounds with 13 while Kate Jorgenson and Erickson with two each.
WWG (4-20) wraps up the regular season and heads into the Section 3A tournament where it will face No. 8S Fulda on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the first round.

LUVERNE - The Marshall gymnastics team placed seventh at the Section 3A meet on Saturday, but will be represented this weekend at the state competition.
Eighth-grader Saphi McFarquhar recorded an all-around score of 34.800, including an 8.550 on the uneven bars and a 9.050 on the balance beam to qualify for state in both the bars and the beam.
Marshall coach Larvita McFarquhar is pleased that they will be able to represent their team and the town at state.
"As a team, we've worked hard and pushed each other in practice," she said. "Now we get to see what Saphi can do up at state."
The Tigers scored a team score of 125.550 at the meet. Assistant coach Matt Versaevel was also named the assistant coach of the year. The individual state competition will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the University of Minnesota inside the Maturi Pavilion.
