Speculators creating price farmers receive
To the editor:
This letter is in response to the Tuesday, March 12, Marshall Independent story titled “Farmland Prices Drop.” Minnesota University Extension educator David Bau in other papers has written about rent prices, putting farmer against farmer, (and land owner against tenant), when he should be talking about the way of pricing farm commodities, where speculators are creating the price farmers receive.
