HUTCHINSON—The funeral service for Lila Jeseritz, 96, of Hutchinson, formerly of Wood Lake, will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wood Lake, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wood Lake. Wabasso Lions Club Bar-B-Que today

The Wabasso Lions Club is having its 55th annual Bar-B-Que from 5-8 p.m. today at the community center grounds in Wabasso. The meal is $10 for ages 13 and up; $5 for 6-12 years old and free for those ages 5 and under. Barbecue pork, beans, potato salad, bread and pickles are on the menu. A hot dog meal for mac and cheese meal is available for $5, and take-outs are also available.
