The third-grade students at Southview Elementary would like to thank the Pride in the Tiger Foundation for their generous grant to allow us to visit the Bramble Park Zoo in Watertown, South Dakota. This experience allowed us to connect our social studies and science curriculum and lessons to the real world. For some of us, it was the first time at a real zoo. Marshall Municipal Band concert June 3

Due to construction near Liberty Park, the Wednesday, June 3 Municipal Band concert will be held at the Marshall Middle School. The band will be performing in the grassy area between the Middle School and Southview Elementary. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to park in the District Office lot on Progress Drive. Lawn chairs or other personal seating arrangements are encouraged.
