Avera acquires CNOS

Avera and The Center for Neurosciences, Orthopaedics & Spine (CNOS) announced Avera’s acquisition of the CNOS practice based in Dakota Dunes, S.D. This partnership includes over 100 CNOS physicians, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, occupational therapists and athletic trainers across nine specialties and subspecialties with over 350 staff. Harold Stienessen

MINNEOTA — Mass of Christian Burial for Harold Stienessen, 92, of Minneota will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Minneota. Visitation will continue Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will follow the service at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Minneota. He died Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby.
