Welcoming Week event Monday
There will be a Welcoming Week event from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Justice Park in Marshall. This year's theme is "Stories We Share." The event includes local ethnic food, music, a chalk art contest, games and inflatables for the kids, a candy drop and a dunk tank.
Concert in Dawson Sept. 19
Dawson-Boyd Arts Association will open its 26th season with the lively, nostalgic sounds of Kate Voss & The Hot Sauce at Memorial Auditorium in Dawson at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
Led by award-winning vocalist and bassist Kate Voss, the trio brings a spirited mix of Western swing, rockabilly, and danceable favorites from the 1950s and 1960s, creating an upbeat concert experience for longtime fans and new listeners alike.
Admission is $25 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets are available online at dawsonboydartspresents.org, at the door, or by calling the box office at 320-312-2311.
