The Murray County Historical Society is having its annual Dinehart Holt House Front Porch Concert Series. The concert lineup includes:
The Double Down Daredevils, a Minnesota-based bluegrass band, playing bluegrass and Americana music, with a special emphasis on 2, 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies, featuring Murray County native Tom Peschges on July 30.
Kindred Spirits, a jazz and blues trio group based out of Marshall will perform on Aug. 6.
The concerts are free to attend and will take place on the front porch of the Dinehart Holt House at 2812 Linden Avenue in Slayton. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. Free refreshments will be available.
