Donna Jean Arvidson, 90, died June 10, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Society Ambassador Long Term Care Facility in New Hope, MN, surrounded by her family.

Donna was born January 19, 1936, in Bertha, MN. She married Loren Arvidson in 1953. They moved their family to Marshall, MN in 1966 where they owned Loren’s Shoes on Main Street until 1990. When her youngest daughter was school age, she enrolled at Southwest State University in Marshall and earned a degree in Business in 1973. Donna Jean was an avid reader, taught Business Classes in Lynd, MN, worked for Western Community Action, and the Lyon County Extension Office. She was also active in her church and was a Stephens Minister. Donna Jean and Loren loved traveling the US in their 5th-wheel camper in retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband Loren (2022) and her parents.

Donna is survived by her 4 daughters: Debbie (David) Arvidson Tholen, Linda (Brian) Adams, Cindy (Mark) Condiff, Susan Arvidson. 8 grandchildren: Katie Gregg, Bryce (May) Adams, Chris (Emma) Adams, Sarah (Lenny) Cohen, Matt Dwire, Melanie (Logan) Dwire, Emily (Pedro) Condiff and Kyle Condiff, 9 great-grandchildren and one brother.

A private service will be held for family.

Interment will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake, MN.
