In Recognition
On behalf of Southview Elementary School, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Pride in the Tiger Foundation for generously helping fund busing transportation for our students’ spring concert practices.
Because of their support, our students were able to safely and reliably attend rehearsals that helped make this year’s concert season a meaningful and successful experience. Opportunities like these allow students to grow not only musically, but also in confidence, teamwork, and school pride.
Community partnerships such as the Pride in the Tiger Foundation make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and staff. Their continued investment in education and student activities helps ensure that valuable experiences remain accessible to all students.
We are incredibly thankful for their generosity and commitment to supporting our schools and community.
Sincerely,
Katy Haltvick

The Pride in the Tiger Foundation (PITF) awarded Tiffany Lecy’s class $136. This was provided through the Teacher Impact Grant. She used the funds to purchase a document camera and visual timer. The document camera allows her to display worksheets, books and manipulatives under the camera for everyone to see. This has given every child the same opportunities to participate and see well while viewing what is shown on the smart board. With the printers and scanner being removed from the teachers classroom, this will still give her the ability to show her students the worksheet, books and manipulatives they are working with. The timer will be beneficial to her students who need a visual reminder of time to keep them on task and to help them know when we will transition.
Thank you PITF!
