Friends of Camden annual meeting
The Friends of Camden State Park will hold their annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the multipurpose room at the Marshall YMCA. New members are welcome. The Friends of Camden is a nonprofit group of local volunteers dedicated to providing assistance to the park for special park projects.
District 15 Candidates Debate March 16
The Redwood County Republicans are hosting a Minnesota Senate District 15 Candidates Debate for all seven counties in Minnesota Senate District 15. (Redwood, Lyon, Lac qui Parle, Yellow Medicine, Chippewa, Brown, Blue Earth)
The debate will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the Wabasso Community Center, 1429 Front Street, Wabasso.
All three candidates will be in attendance. Candidates include Tiffany Lesmeister-Knott, Brian Mock, and Braxton Seifert. A moderator will be present to ask questions of the candidates giving them equal time for response.
Also present will be Geri Theis, candidate for Minnesota House District 15B. She will be given the opportunity to speak with the group and field a few questions. There is no charge for the event, but there will be a free will donation box to help defray expenses.
