Adult mixed ice bocce league will be played on Wednesday nights from Feb. 5-March 11 at the Red Baron Arena & Expo. This all new league combines several games like bowling, curling and shuffleboard. Email Cam at cam.bailey@ci.marshall.mn.us for team roster and rules. Fee: $35 per player.
Youth gymnastics small sessions will be Tuesdays and Thursdays (Feb. 6-25) in the Marshall High School gymnastics room. Ages 4-6 will meet from 6:15-6:45 p.m. or 6:45-7:15 p.m. Ages 7-12 will meet from 7:15-7:45 p.m. or 7:45-8:15 p.m. Smaller class sizes (six gymnasts per session) will allow for more 1-on-1 instructor time, helping gymnasts meet their personal goals and develop skills of their interest. Fee: $50 per person.
Instructional hitting clinic will be at the Marshall Middle School. Boys ages 9-12 will meet from 6-6:45 p.m. or 6:45-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, 17, 24 and March 2 (Mondays). Boys ages 13-15 will meet from 6-6:45 p.m. or 6:45-7:30 p.m. Feb. 11, 18, 25 and March 3 (Tuesdays). Fee: $90 per person.
Magnet boards will be Feb. 11 and 18 (Tuesdays) from 6-7:30 p.m. at Treasured Times (313 W. Main St.). Make your own magnetic boards that can be used for all seasons. Fee: $45 per person (includes supplies).
Cultures on the Prairie will be Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in the SMSU RA Facility. Attendees will experience the stories, history and cultures throughout southwest Minnesota by listening and interacting with three select panels. The keynote speaker will be SMSU President Dr. Kumara Jayasuriya. Fee: $5 per person (includes meal ticket).
Pathfinders will be Mondays and Fridays from 3:05-5:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the Marshall Middle School. The program will include a snack, team activities, a wide range of instructor-led programs and/or projects which include physical fitness, arts/crafts, cooking and much more. Fee: $50 per semester.
Adult woodshop will be Thursdays through May 7 from 3:15-5:15 p.m. in the Marshall High School woodshop. Area adults can use the MHS woodshop facility and its equipment under an experienced supervisor. Fee: $25 per person.
