n Icky, Sticky Fun will be from 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Marshall Middle School for boys and girls in grades 3-8. Kids will have the chance to get hands-on messy with bubbles and Play-Doh. Fee: $10 per person.

n ECFE — Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard (for ages 2-5 years with a parent) will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursdays (Nov. 30-Dec. 21) at the ECFE office in the Marshall Middle School. Fee: $16 per family.

n A Wireless Workshop! will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Minnesota Valley Communications (800 E. Main St.). Discuss different apps, functions, and features of smartphones — including passwords and security, tablets, social networks, email, connecting to a computer and camera features. Fee: $10 per person.

n MCS Red Baron Arena evening open skate will be from 7-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 7-9 p.m. Sundays. Open adult hockey will be from 7:30-10 p.m. Wednesdays. Admission for open skate and open hockey is $5 per skater with rental skates available for $3.
