MARSHALL — Coming off back-to-back state tournament appearances, expectations are once again high for Marshall football. The Tigers will officially begin their 2026 campaign Friday when they host Westonka at 7 p.m., giving Marshall its first opportunity to put its offseason work to the test. “We are coming off of a scrimmage with Mankato East last week. DAWSON — Returning the bulk of their roster from last season, the Dawson-Boyd volleyball team looks to take steps in the right direction in 2026. The Blackjacks went 2-22 last season, falling in the play-in round of the Section 3A tournament. MARSHALL — Marshall High School cross country continued its recent run of success Tuesday, with the Tigers putting together strong performances at their home meet at Marshall Golf Club. The Marshall boys varsity team came away with the team championship by just one point, while the girls squad also put together an impressive showing, finishing second and trailing the team champion by just six points.
