MORTON — The top-10 finishes of Dayton Webskowski, Maddi Panka and Anna Thor helped the Marshall girls golf team eke out a first-place finish at the Big South Conference Championship Tournament, Monday at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club. As a team, Marshall tallied a team score of 377 to edge out Fairmont by a single stroke, and Blue Earth Area placed third at 400 in the 14-team event. HADLEY — Tucker Sorenson threw an immaculate inning for the Hadley Buttermakers in their Gopher League matchup against Fox Lake on Sunday, helping his team run away with a 15-1 win in seven innings.
