TRACY -- The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers put together their most productive offensive performance of the season Wednesday night, rolling past the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Saints 46-0 at Tracy Area High School.

TMB scored in every quarter, building an 8-0 lead after the opening period before adding 16 points in both the second and third quarters. The Panthers added six more points in the fourth to complete the shutout and secure their third win of the season.

The Panthers finished with 435 yards of total offense, showcasing a balanced attack with 234 yards on the ground and 201 through the air. TMB also found success defensively, limiting KMS to 127 total yards and coming away with two interceptions.

Jackson Kruse led the Panthers’ offensive effort, accounting for 279 yards of total offense and 14 points. The quarterback completed eight of 12 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 78 yards and two scores on 15 carries.

Kruse spread the ball around through the air, with Ty Yackley leading the receiving corps with three catches for 108 yards and a touchdown. Yackley’s longest reception covered 47 yards, and he averaged 36 yards per catch.

Emery Xiong also found the end zone as a receiver, finishing with one catch for 22 yards and a touchdown. Aiden Sanow caught two passes for 44 yards, while Nolan Verlinde added a 20-yard reception. Braden Morgan contributed one catch for seven yards.

TMB’s ground game provided another major piece of the offensive production. Verlinde carried the ball 15 times for 77 yards, while Myhlez Moua added a 28-yard touchdown run on his lone rushing attempt. Sanow gained 22 yards on one carry, and Charles Xiong finished with 17 yards on two attempts. Noah Johnson added nine rushing yards and a touchdown.

The Panthers’ offensive production helped them pull away as the game progressed, scoring 24 points across the second and third quarters to establish a commanding advantage heading into the final period.

Defensively, TMB kept the Saints from finding the end zone and forced two turnovers through interceptions by Kruse. Johnson led the Panthers with five solo tackles and four tackles for loss, while Carson Lanoue recorded six solo tackles and two tackles for loss.

Trenton Johnson added a sack, and Charles Xiong and Oakley Bornitz each recorded a tackle for loss. As a team, the Panthers totaled 10 tackles for loss and two sacks, helping disrupt the Saints’ offensive efforts throughout the contest.

KMS managed 96 passing yards and 31 rushing yards for 127 total yards. The Saints completed six of 24 passes, with Kylen Payne and Devin Rudningen combining for 96 passing yards. KMS was unable to turn its offensive production into points against TMB’s defense.

The 46-point performance gave TMB its highest scoring output of the season and ended a four-game losing streak, moving the Panthers to 3-4 on the season.

TMB returns to action Tuesday, Oct. 20, when it hosts BOLD at 7 p.m. in its regular-season finale.
