Boys head coach Brian Leibfried was pleased with his team’s effort on the challenging course at Jackson Golf Club.

"It was an exciting time at the BSC Meet today," Leibfried said. "We were most impressed with the effort we saw from the team on a very tough and hilly course. Our kids battled in all races all the way to the line."

Leibfried said the close individual battles late in races will be important as Marshall prepares for the Section meet next Thursday.

"The late race individual battles will be something we need to go our way heading into the Section meet next Thursday," Leibfried said. "Our team should have gained a bit of confidence in that aspect of the race."

The Tigers will spend the coming week fine-tuning their training as they prepare for the postseason.

"Over the next week we will continue to fine-tune our workouts to have the team ready to go," Leibfried said.
