WESTBROOK -- The Westbrook-Walnut Grove volleyball team picked up its fourth win in its last five matches on Tuesday night. The red-hot Chargers built off a balanced defensive effort to pick up a 25-10, 25-13, 25-11 sweep of Heron Lake-Okabena in Red Rock Conference play.
Natasha Wahl, Leah VanDeWiele and Mayah Wahl ended the night with 10, nine and eight digs, respectively. Natasha Wahl's eight kills were also a team-high, and VanDeWiele's two service aces were second only to Sydney Foster's four.
Hadley Jenniges led the team's back-row efforts with 19 set assists, while Kendall Jenniges ended the match with an ace block and a block assist.
Westbrook-Walnut Grove now sits at 5-3 on the season and next hosts Pipestone Area (1-7) on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
