Wabasso back on winning track after road win

LESTER PRAIRIE -- Kenley Guetter's 12 kills helped the Wabasso volleyball team snap a four-game skid with a 25-18, 25-17, 25-23 Tomahawk Conference sweep of Lester Prairie on Tuesday night.

Cassie Bliss and Lanna Janeiro-Dolan split setting duties with 17 and 12 set assists, respectively. Bliss' seven digs were also second only to Guetter.

The Rabbits were aggressive at the service line, with Alexa Remiger serving up five aces and Cendyll Daub contributing another four.

Britta Brand finished with a game-high eight digs.

Wabasso improves to 2-4 on the season and next hosts Cedar Mountain (4-1) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
