MARSHALL -- Playing host to the 2026 Southwest Minnesota Challenge, Marshall volleyball continued to show why it has been so dominant early in the season.
The Tigers opened their Friday, Sept. 11 slate against Sioux Falls Roosevelt and wasted little time taking control. Marshall cruised to a pair of convincing victories, winning 25-8 and 25-4 to sweep the Rough Riders.
Marshall followed that performance with a second matchup Friday, where the Tigers faced a tougher challenge but still managed to come away with another sweep. Marshall won the opening set 25-18 before closing out the match with a 25-21 victory.
The Tigers will return to the court Saturday, beginning with a 10:45 a.m. matchup against Prior Lake at Marshall High School.
If Marshall continues to advance through the challenge, the Tigers will play again at 1:15 p.m. Saturday.
