SMSU football to host free youth clinic as part of Ag Bowl this Saturday

MARSHALL The Southwest Minnesota State University football program will host a FREE youth clinic as part of the annual Ag Bowl this Saturday, Sept. 12, at Mattke Field at The Schwan Regional Event Center.

The clinic is open to youth in grades K-6 and will begin at 1:15 p.m. until 2 p.m. No registration is required.

Following the football clinic, families are encouraged to stay and celebrate agriculture in Minnesota with numerous activities for both kids and adults.

Starting at 3 p.m. Ag Bowl festivities continue with numerous activities including the kids pedal pull, petting zoo, face painting, ag related booths and activities, mechanical bull riding, farm-themed inflatables, hayrides and more! The pedal pull registration begins at 3 p.m. with the pedal pull starting at 3:30 p.m.

The day is capped by the SMSU football game versus Northern State University starting at 5 p.m. at Mattke Field at The Schwan Regional Event Center.
