Knights roll to third sweep of season

TYLER -- Entering Monday night's matchup with Wabasso, RTR volleyball had suffered just one loss on the season, coming against Minneota.

The Knights came into their home match with a 2-1 record, with both of their victories coming by way of sweeps on the road against Lakeview and TMB.

RTR continued that trend Monday, rolling past Wabasso in straight sets, 25-11, 25-17, 25-20. The victory not only moved the Knights to 3-1 on the season, but also marked their third sweep of the year.

The Knights will look to keep their strong start going when they return to action Thursday, Sept. 17, hosting Adrian/Ellsworth. First serve is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
