ADRIAN -- Looking to pick up its third win of the season, Canby volleyball hit the road for a matchup with Adrian/Ellsworth.
The Lancers fell in a sweep but had several players put together strong individual performances in the loss.
Junior Karli Weber led Canby with seven kills, while Jada VanEngen and Tatum Christianson added three kills apiece.
Kinsley Verhelst recorded two of the Lancers' three service aces, with Shyanna Stoll adding the other.
Rachel Jelen recorded two blocks as part of Canby's three total blocks. Christianson added the other block.
The Lancers have a busy end to the week, beginning Sept. 22 with a home matchup against Ortonville. First serve is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
Canby will then travel to CMC on Sept. 24 for a 7:15 p.m. match before competing in the Class A Showcase on Sept. 26 at 9 a.m.
