COTTONWOOD -- Taylor Hinz's 17 kills propelled Lakeview past Central Minnesota Christian in a five-set Camden Conference battle. Lakeview took the first set 25-22 before CMC took the lead with 27-25 and 25-12 wins in the ensuing pair of sets, but Lakeview closed out the victory with hard-fought wins of 25-23 and 17-15.
Taylor Hinz also tied Aubrey Pederson with a team-high 13 digs, followed by nine apiece from Jersey Stensrud and Adison Hinz.
Nikki Schwartz and Khya Gawarecki contributed 16 and 11 set assists, respectively. In addition to Taylor Hinz's production, Avery Hinz also finished off nine kills.
Josie Spaude went up for a pair of ace blocks in the game and Pederson logged a pair of service aces.
Lakeview gets back to .500 at 5-5 and looks to get in the win column again when it goes on the road to take on Dawson-Boyd (4-6) on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
