By Daniel Lins 1 min read

RENVILLE -- Despite an all-around effort from Natasha Erickson, the Red Rock Central volleyball team was unable to overcome Renville County West, falling to the Jaguars in three sets, 25-11, 25-8, 25-16.

Erickson provided contributions in nearly every statistical category for the Falcons, recording four kills, seven digs, three assists and one block.

She was also effective from the service line, connecting on five of six serves and missing just one throughout the match.

Amelia Ubl led Red Rock Central defensively with 10 digs, while Zoey Keck paced the Falcons offensively with five kills.

The Falcons also put together a solid performance serving the ball. Red Rock Central missed just four serves as a team and recorded two aces, with Keck and Paige Wondercheck each picking up one.

Despite the three-set loss, Red Rock Central showed consistency from the service line and received contributions from multiple players across the court.

The Falcons will look to bounce back when they return to action Sept. 8 with a road matchup in Windom.
