The Chargers ultimately fell 42-14, but the season opener provided an opportunity for WWG to gain valuable experience and identify areas to improve moving forward.
With the first game of the season now in the books, the Chargers can turn their attention toward making adjustments and building on what they learned against GHEC.
WWG will have another road test ahead of it when it returns to action Sept. 11 against Mountain Lake. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Chargers will look to put the lessons from their opener to work as they continue through the early portion of the season.
